The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly's Budget Session commenced on January 28, 2026, with the Governor's Address setting the tone for legislative proceedings. The session, expected to continue until March 2026, is scheduled to include presentation of the State Budget for financial year 2026-27 by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari.

Prior to the session, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a Cabinet Meeting to approve key decisions, including the Rajasthan Industrial Park Promotion Policy 2026, which aims to attract investment through private, PPP, and hybrid ownership models under RIICO. The Speaker also convened an all-party meeting to ensure smooth conduct of budget proceedings.

Key expectations from the budget include enhanced allocations for roads, youth employment under the CM Self-Employment Scheme offering interest-free loans up to ₹10 lakh, expansion of rural water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission, and development of solar parks in Bikaner and Jaisalmer. The state's economy is reported to have grown 41.39% over the previous government's tenure. The budget was subsequently presented on February 11, 2026.
