The Government of Rajasthan announced plans to introduce 12 new industrial and sectoral policies to accelerate economic development and attract investment. These policies cover emerging sectors including semiconductors, data centres, medical devices, defence corridor, textiles and apparel, logistics and warehousing, solar energy 2.0, tourism 2.0, EV and mobility, and innovation and startups.

The state already has 22 implemented sectoral and investment policies. The new Semiconductor Policy aims to establish Rajasthan as a leader in electronics manufacturing. The Data Centre Policy targets cloud computing and digital infrastructure hub status. The Defence Corridor Policy aims to strengthen local manufacturing for defence equipment exports. The EV and Mobility Policy promotes electric vehicle manufacturing and charging infrastructure development.
