Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma used an investor meet in Bengaluru on 26 April 2026 to invite Karnataka and industry stakeholders to participate in the state's agritech transformation. The meeting was organised under Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet 2026, a preparatory outreach for the main event scheduled in Jaipur from 23 to 25 May 2026. The stated aim is to position Rajasthan as a hub for agricultural innovation, agritech investment and global partnerships. Sharma said Rajasthan is combining its traditional agricultural strengths with modern technology to build an agritech-driven economy and an investor-friendly environment. He linked the outreach to the 2024 Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, saying that memoranda of understanding worth ₹35 lakh crore had been signed there and investments worth ₹9 lakh crore had already been grounded. The Bengaluru event was hosted by the Agriculture Department of the Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Rajasthan Foundation. It brought together stakeholders from agriculture, agritech, industry and investment sectors. The Chief Minister said GRAM 2026 would support modern farming practices, higher farmer incomes, access to advanced digital tools and agritech innovations, food processing and global markets. He also said the initiative would bring farmers, experts and investors onto one platform. A key governance point was inter-departmental convergence: Rajasthan is integrating agriculture, electricity, cooperatives, animal husbandry and fisheries to create a unified ecosystem for holistic farmer development. Agriculture and Horticulture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena said the state is strengthening its agritech ecosystem through policy support, infrastructure development and innovation, making the environment conducive for investors and entrepreneurs. A film on GRAM 2026 was shown during the meet, and participants discussed agriculture, agritech, investment and partnership opportunities. Roadshows had already been held in Jaipur and New Delhi, with more planned in major cities.
