The 3rd India-Saudi Arabia Security Working Group meeting was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 28, 2026. The discussions covered counter-terrorism cooperation, maritime security in the Indian Ocean, cybersecurity collaboration, and intelligence sharing mechanisms.

Both sides agreed to enhance operational cooperation against transnational crime networks, particularly drug trafficking and money laundering. The meeting also discussed the security of Indian diaspora in Saudi Arabia (numbering over 2.5 million) and coordination on regional stability in the Gulf and West Asia. The Security Working Group was established during PM Modi's visit to Saudi Arabia in 2019 as part of the Strategic Partnership Council framework.
