REET Cut-Off — Historical Category-wise Marks
Last updated: April 2026 · 2023 RSSB Grade-3 cycle, Mathematics & Science row from primary RSSB PDF
Quick answer
For the 2023 RSSB Grade-3 (REET Mains) cycle, NTSP general cut-offs were: Hindi (Language) 235.48 / 300, Social Studies 206.85 / 300, Mathematics & Science 190.51 / 300. TSP general cut-offs were 35-45 marks lower in each subject. Category-wise relaxation followed the standard Rajasthan reservation pattern. REET Mains 2025 has notified 7,123 vacancies; new cut-offs will follow the next written paper.
REET Mains Level 2 — 2023 NTSP cut-off
Non-Tribal Sub-Plan (NTSP) covers the bulk of Rajasthan and is the broader competition pool. Marks are out of 300. The Mathematics & Science row links to the primary RSSB result PDF.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between REET qualifying marks and the recruitment cut-off?
REET (conducted by RBSE) is an eligibility test with a fixed qualifying floor — 60% for general (90 of 150) and 55% for reserved categories. Once you qualify REET, the rank-ordered cut-off that decides actual teacher appointments comes from the RSSB Grade-3 / "REET Mains" recruitment paper out of 300 marks. The numbers on this page are recruitment-stage cut-offs from the 2023 RSSB Grade-3 cycle.
Why are some categories blank in the TSP table?
For the 2023 RSSB Grade-3 TSP (Tribal Sub-Plan) zone, only General, SC and ST cut-offs were released publicly. EWS, OBC and MBC rows in the TSP table show em-dash (—) because RSSB did not publish those category cut-offs for this zone.
Where do these REET cut-off numbers come from?
The Level-2 Mathematics & Science row in the NTSP and TSP tables is sourced from the official RSSB result PDF dated 7 June 2023, which we link directly. Hindi (Language) and Social Studies (SST) rows are compiled from aggregator summaries of the same cycle and are pending a primary-source RSSB PDF pull. We never publish a fabricated cut-off.
Are 2024 or 2025 REET cut-offs available?
No clean public release for the 2024 or 2025 REET Mains cycles has been issued yet. The RSSB Mains 2025 round notified 7,123 vacancies; cut-offs will follow the next written paper. This page will refresh when RSSB publishes new result PDFs.
How is the REET Mains cut-off calculated?
RSSB sets cut-offs based on vacancy count, candidate volume, paper difficulty, and reservation policy. The Grade-3 paper is out of 300 marks. Roughly 18-25% of marks are current-affairs-sensitive (Rajasthan GK, state schemes, education-policy updates), which means category-to-category gaps often fit inside that window — e.g. GEN vs OBC SST cut-off differed by just 5.6 marks in 2023.
What target should I aim for to safely clear the cut-off?
For 2026 planning, general candidates should target 220+ on the 300-mark Mathematics & Science paper, 250+ on Hindi (Language), and 215+ on Social Studies. These are buffer targets above the 2023 NTSP cut-offs. Reserved-category candidates can target 10-20 marks below the corresponding general buffer based on their category cut-off in 2023.
Does the REET Level 1 paper have a similar cut-off?
Yes. RSSB Grade-3 Level 1 (primary teacher) recruitment uses a separate paper out of 300 marks with similar category-wise cut-off structure. Specific Level 1 cut-off numbers from older cycles will be added to this tracker as primary-source PDFs are confirmed.
Why do TSP cut-offs differ from NTSP cut-offs?
NTSP (Non-Tribal Sub-Plan) covers the bulk of Rajasthan and is the broader competition pool. TSP (Tribal Sub-Plan) covers the scheduled tribal blocks of Rajasthan with a separate vacancy quota and lower competitive intensity, so TSP cut-offs are typically 30-40 marks lower than NTSP for the same category.
