On October 18, 2025, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma transferred ₹717.96 crore (approximately ₹718 crore) directly to bank accounts of approximately 72 lakh farmers as the fourth installment of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, at a state-level function in Nadbai, Bharatpur district. The scheme supplements the Central PM-KISAN scheme to provide farmers a combined annual support of ₹9,000. CM Sharma described farmers as nation builders and the backbone of India's food security. The Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, launched by the Bhajanlal government, specifically targets small and marginal farmers, helping improve agricultural income and reduce rural distress in Rajasthan.
