Rajasthan launched Raj-UNNATI (Rajasthan Unified Networked Navigation and Tracking Initiative), a state-level digital governance platform modelled after the central government's PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) initiative, making it the first Indian state to replicate this governance framework at the regional level. Raj-UNNATI is a project monitoring and grievance resolution system chaired by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and reviewed by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas. The platform initially covers seven major projects across five departments involving a cumulative investment of ₹1,943 crore, along with two key central schemes — PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) and PM Surya Ghar (Rooftop Solar Programme). Reviews are conducted through video conferencing with participation from senior officers, Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors, and concerned line department officials. A dedicated technology module, the Chief Minister Information System (CMIS), has been developed to upload project information and track real-time progress. The platform was commended by Union Cabinet Secretary T.V. Somanathan for its innovative governance design. Raj-UNNATI aims to cut project delays, fast-track grievance redressal, ensure accountability at all administrative levels, and improve the Ease of Doing Business environment in Rajasthan by bringing transparency and data-driven oversight to government schemes and infrastructure projects.
