Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Raisina Dialogue 2026 on March 5, 2026, in New Delhi, with Finland's President Alexander Stubb delivering the keynote address at the opening ceremony. The three-day premier geopolitical conference (March 5–7, 2026) is jointly organised by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

The theme for Raisina Dialogue 2026 is 'Saṁskāra: Assertion, Accommodation, Advancement', capturing a multipolar world where nations assert their identity and dialogue while advancing through civilisational refinement. Around 2,700 participants from 110 countries attended in person, including ministers, former heads of state, parliamentarians, military leaders, think tanks, technology leaders, and youth delegates.

In his keynote, President Stubb stated: 'The global power balance has shifted. The Global South has demography and economy on its side. The era of a Western-dominated world is over.' This underscores the significance India has gained as a convening power in global geopolitical discourse. The dialogue addressed issues of multilateralism, Indo-Pacific security, climate diplomacy, artificial intelligence governance, and the India-Europe strategic partnership — with Finland as a NATO member. The event reinforced India's growing role as a bridge between the Global South and the developed world.
