The Government of Rajasthan launched Raj-UNNATI (Rajasthan Unified New National Acceleration of Timely Implementation), a unique digital governance and project monitoring platform modelled on the Central Government's PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) system chaired by the Prime Minister. Rajasthan becomes the first state in India to replicate the PRAGATI framework at the regional level, a move that has been commended by Cabinet Secretary T.V. Somanathan. Raj-UNNATI reviews key projects and schemes of both Central and State Governments through video conferencing, with participation from Senior officers, Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors, and concerned departmental officials — all chaired by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Chief Secretary V. Srinivas. In its initial scope, the platform focuses on seven major projects across five departments involving investment of ₹1,943 crore, along with two key centrally-sponsored schemes — PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) and PM Surya Ghar (Muft Bijli Yojana). The technology backbone includes the Chief Minister Information System (CMIS), a dedicated module for uploading information and tracking progress in real time. The system enables faster resolution of bottlenecks, ensures accountability at every tier of administration, and provides the Chief Minister with a dashboard view of project implementation status across the state. The initiative aligns with Rajasthan's broader Digital Governance push and is seen as complementary to the state's Industrial and Investment policies. It is expected to significantly reduce project delays and improve public service delivery.
