On January 10, 2026, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a Rajasthan Police appointment-letter ceremony in Jaipur, where a Cyber Helpline was launched in Rajasthan on the lines of I4C. Rajasthan's 2026-27 Budget separately proposed establishing the Rajasthan Cyber Crime Control Centre (R4C) for control and prevention of cyber crimes, with AI-based analysis, a call centre for Cyber Helpline 1930, and ₹100 crore for office building construction and related cyber-security works. Rajasthan has witnessed a significant surge in cybercrime in recent years, with Bharatpur, Deeg, and the Mewat region emerging as notorious cybercrime hotspots. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma described strengthening cyber security as an important step for the state's digital economy. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) was established under the Ministry of Home Affairs to combat cybercrime in a coordinated and comprehensive manner; it was approved in October 2018 and its headquarters was inaugurated in New Delhi on January 10, 2020.
