Rajya Sabha Chairman Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office to Shri Neeraj Dangi at the Parliament House on 22 June 2026. Shri Dangi is a re-elected member of the Rajya Sabha who represents Rajasthan in the Upper House of Parliament. He took the oath in Hindi.

The oath-taking is a constitutional requirement before a member can take his or her seat and participate in the proceedings of the House. As the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, the Vice-President of India administers the oath to newly elected and re-elected members.

The ceremony at the Parliament House was attended by several senior dignitaries. Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Shri Harivansh was present, along with the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju. Also in attendance was Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, the Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha, who is also the Minister of Health and Family Welfare and the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

Rajya Sabha member Shri Jairam Ramesh and the Secretary-General of the Rajya Sabha Shri P. C. Modi were also present at the occasion, along with other senior officers of the Secretariat. The administration of the oath formally enabled Shri Neeraj Dangi to resume his duties as a representative of Rajasthan in the Council of States.
