Raveena Singh achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first transgender lawyer to register as a woman with the Bar Council of Rajasthan. Born as Ravindra Singh in Pali district, she overcame deep societal barriers to enter the legal profession and has become an advocate for transgender rights.

Raveena has filed a writ petition at the Rajasthan High Court advocating for expanded transgender rights in education and employment, in line with the Supreme Court's NALSA v. Union of India (2014) landmark judgement and the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019. Her registration marks a significant step toward greater inclusivity in Rajasthan's legal profession.
