The Ministry of Ayush reported on 28 April 2026 that the All India Institute of Ayurveda - Incubation Centre for Ayurveda Innovation and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 27 April 2026 with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur. The partnership aims to strengthen innovation, research and entrepreneurship in Ayurveda.

The MoU was signed at the Jodhpur campus by Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Director of the All India Institute of Ayurveda, for AIIA-iCAINE, and Govind Sahay Shukla, Vice-Chancellor, for DSRRAU. Faculty, researchers, scholars and students attended.

Pradeep Kumar Prajapati described the agreement as a step towards taking Ayurveda to new global dimensions and translating traditional knowledge into evidence-based, market-ready innovations. Govind Sahay Shukla said the collaboration would open opportunities for students, research scholars and faculty, and support the university's vision of blending tradition with innovation for global wellness.

Sujith Eranezhath, Chief Executive Officer of AIIA-iCAINE, explained the structured support available through incubation programmes and the technical guidance to be extended to ventures emerging from academic institutions. Under the MoU, DSRRAU students, scholars and faculty will receive mentorship, advisory support, training, capacity-building inputs, innovation programmes, idea-pitching camps, entrepreneurship workshops and structured interaction with industry stakeholders. Joint ideation camps, innovation challenges and industry interactions will also be held. The agreement is for an initial period of three years and is expected to advance Ministry of Ayush objectives on innovation, entrepreneurship and sectoral development.
