On February 24–25, 2026, IIRIS Consulting and the National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ), Rajasthan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the IIRIS Chair of Information Security (Infosec) and Forensic Society — the first-ever dedicated Chair in Information Security and Forensic Science at an Indian law university.

The MoU was signed by Sagarika Chakraborty, CEO of IIRIS Consulting, and Professor (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice Chancellor of NLUJ, creating a centre of excellence for research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration in cybersecurity and forensic science. The partnership also announced a joint Certificate Programme on Cyber-Led Forensic Investigation and Diligence, bridging legal theory with practical digital investigative skills.

NLUJ — one of India's leading National Law Universities and a premier institution in Rajasthan — contributes expertise in legal theory and jurisprudential foundations, while IIRIS brings over a decade of real-world investigative experience across ten countries. The Chair is particularly significant as cyber forensics increasingly intersects with criminal law, data protection litigation, and corporate investigations. For Rajasthan, this strengthens NLUJ's position as a hub for legal technology and cybersecurity education, supporting the state government's digital governance and cyber safety goals.
