India has signed Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) cooperation agreements with 24 countries. India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is now operational in 8 countries: UAE, Singapore, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, France, Mauritius, and Qatar. India Stack Global portal now provides access to 18 digital platforms. India ranked 1st in the Digital Well-Being Index 2026 for the fourth consecutive year. This expansion supports India's ambition to export its DPI model as a global public good, a key element of its G20 presidency legacy.
