The Indian Army's Southern Command carried out Exercise Maru Jwala in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on November 11, 2025, as part of the ongoing Tri-Services Exercise Trishul (TSE-2025), which ran from November 3-13, 2025, along India's western frontier.

Exercise Trishul involved over 30,000 troops from the Indian Army, 25 warships and submarines from the Indian Navy, 40 Indian Air Force aircraft, and paramilitary forces. Maru Jwala was conducted by the 36th Infantry Division of XXI Strike Corps. Rotary aviation assets of the 603rd Aviation Brigade conducted reconnaissance and close air support alongside mechanized formations. The exercise validated multi-domain integrated operations across land, sea, and air.
