Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the Saras Rajsakhi National Fair at Jawahar Kala Kendra in Jaipur on December 18. The fair, running till January 4, 2026, features around 300 stalls from 24 states showcasing rural traditions, folk art, handicrafts, handloom, and textile products.

The CM visited stalls by women Self-Help Groups from across the country and praised their skills, noting that SHGs are empowering women and strengthening the rural economy. The fair provides national-level exposure and market access to rural women artisans. It is organised under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana — National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
