The Rajasthan government launched 'e-Swasthya Samvad', a dedicated digital communication platform aimed at strengthening governance, transparency, and coordination within the state's medical education department. Launched under the direction of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Medical Education Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, the platform will be conducted twice a week — every Tuesday and Thursday — through video conferencing. Medical Education Commissioner Naresh Goyal described the platform as a real-time digital interface connecting all stakeholders in medical education and health services. Sessions will be held in two phases: senior officials including principals, medical superintendents, PMOs and heads of departments participate from 5 pm; an open public interaction with faculty, doctors, nursing staff, students and citizens begins at 6 pm. The platform will address budget announcements, directives from the Chief Minister's Office, grievance redressal through CMIS and CP-Grams portals, implementation of health schemes, infrastructure projects, procurement of medical equipment, and operational issues of government medical colleges and hospitals. This initiative reflects the Bhajanlal Sharma government's emphasis on technology-driven reforms in the health and medical education sector in Rajasthan.
