The Indian Army celebrated its 78th Army Day on January 15, 2026 with a grand parade in Jaipur, Rajasthan. For the first time, the Army Day Parade was held outside a military cantonment, on Mahal Road in the heart of Jaipur, from Akshay Patra Circle to Bombay Hospital. Over 1 lakh cheering spectators lined the route.

General Anil Chauhan (CDS) and General Upendra Dwivedi (COAS) led the wreath-laying ceremony at Prerna Sthal. The parade featured 30+ entities in the march-past with 7 marching contingents from MADRAS Regimental Centre, RAJPUT Regimental Centre, Regiment of Artillery, Mixed Scouts, and NCC Girls Contingent. The flypast included LCH, ALH, WSI, and Apache helicopters. Cultural performances featured Rajasthan's Kalbelia and Gair folk dances.
