The Government of Rajasthan unveiled the Viksit Rajasthan @2047 Vision Document, launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma in the presence of NITI Aayog officials. Approved by the State Cabinet in August 2025, the document charts a comprehensive roadmap to transform Rajasthan into a developed state by 2047, in alignment with the national Viksit Bharat @2047 goal. Key targets include growing the state economy to $4.3 trillion with agriculture, industry, tourism, and renewable energy as primary pillars. The document is structured around four themes covering thirteen sectors: Public Welfare & Social Empowerment (agriculture, health, education, social welfare); Rapid Development, Prosperity & Employment (industry, mining, tourism, cultural growth); Infrastructure & Connectivity; and Governance & Administration. Rajasthan's GSDP for 2025-26 is estimated at ₹19,89,000 crore, growing at 16.73% annually, placing it 7th nationally.
