The seminar aims to bring together young scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and youth leaders below the age of 35 from around the world to deliberate on India's evolving global engagement through soft power and youth-led diplomacy.

The event features discussions on a broad range of themes including youth engagement in diplomacy, climate advocacy, educational and cultural links, humanitarian work, and multilingual public engagement. Original research papers have been invited from participants worldwide.

The seminar is being promoted through Indian embassies and consulates globally, including in Birmingham (UK), Berne (Switzerland), Athens (Greece), and Santiago (Chile), reflecting its international scope.

Nalanda University, established by an Act of Parliament in 2010, is an international institution modeled after the ancient Nalanda Mahavihara. Located in Rajgir, Bihar, it aims to revive the tradition of scholarly exchange that made ancient Nalanda one of the world's greatest centres of learning.
