Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the Rajasthan State Budget 2026-27 in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in Jaipur on February 11, 2026, following the commencement of the Budget Session on January 28, 2026. The total budget outlay stands at ₹6,10,956.30 crore, dedicated to the theme of 'Service, Security and Good Governance' under the 'Viksit Rajasthan' vision.

Key highlights include: recruitment for 1.43 lakh posts under process and an examination calendar for recruitment on 1 lakh posts; development of 42,000 km of roads including 250 Atal Pragati Paths at a cost of ₹500 crore; interest-free loans of up to ₹10 lakh under the CM Self-Employment Scheme for 30,000 youth; ₹25,000 crore interest-free short-term loans for farmers with ₹800 crore interest subsidy; development of 3,600 hectares in the Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar industrial region at ₹600 crore over two years; establishment of a Rajasthan Testing Agency (on the lines of NTA); and 6,500 villages to receive tap water under 'Har Ghar Nal'. The budget also allocates ₹350 crore for new industrial parks and ₹30 crore for Techno Hubs in every district.

The budget signals Rajasthan's intention to grow its economy to ₹21 lakh crore and is significant for RPSC RAS aspirants as it defines state policy priorities and schemes for the coming year.
