Rajasthan Cabinet Minister for School Education, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Madan Dilawar on 12 May 2026 spoke to reporters in Jodhpur and detailed the Bhajanlal Sharma-led state government's ward-wise development strategy for cities and villages, stating that the administration is "working with fast speed in all sectors" to deliver the benefits of governance to every corner of the state. Dilawar said the government has drawn up ward-wise schemes for urban and rural areas under which each ward will have a costed list of works covering drinking water, sanitation, drainage, street lighting, school upgradation, Anganwadi infrastructure and roads, with delivery monitored by the District Collector and the local Block Development Officer. He also emphasised the rapid roll-out of the Industrial Park Promotion Policy 2026 and the ongoing Gram Rath outreach campaign that is currently moving across Rajasthan villages to publicise welfare schemes and the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet, popularly called GRAM, scheduled for 23-25 May 2026 in Jaipur. The Minister was in Jodhpur as part of the Gram Vikas Yatra and reviewed Census 2027 self-enumeration preparation, school sanitation, mid-day meal quality and the implementation of the Mukhyamantri Shri Annapurna Food Packet Scheme in the district.
