On the eve of completing his one-year term on 19 June 2026, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Chairman Utkal Ranjan Sahu released a report card at a press conference at the commission headquarters in Ajmer. Sahu, who took charge on 12 June 2025, said the commission worked in mission mode to ensure speed, transparency and timeliness in recruitment. During the year, more than 187 examinations were conducted for over 47 lakh candidates, all held on schedule under the commission's Right Time Policy. Sixteen major advertisements were issued for direct recruitment to 14,536 posts; since 1 January 2024, a total of 61 recruitment advertisements were released. The commission sent selection recommendations for 16,218 candidates since 1 January 2024, of which 10,220 were made between June 2025 and June 2026. To ensure confidentiality, a seven-level security system including numeric locks was implemented, and seat-to-seat real-time videography with time stamps prevented malpractice, resulting in zero leakage. The commission held 14,885 interviews, setting a record of about 60 interviews per working day, and began publishing successful candidates' marks immediately after results. Computer-based examinations resumed from January 2026, last used in 2013-14. A record 666 Departmental Promotion Committee meetings cleared promotions for 34,986 personnel. A 250 kW solar plant was installed and Rs 807 lakh infrastructure expansion is underway, alongside creation of 20 new posts.
