The Rajasthan State-Level Youth Festival concluded on January 12, 2026 at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Stadium in Jaipur after a six-day run from January 7 to 12. The festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma under the guiding concept of 'Developed Bharat – Developed Rajasthan', with the objective of channelling youth energy towards the state's development goals. The event emphasised four core pillars: employment generation, career guidance and counselling, promotion of youth innovation and entrepreneurship, and awareness about government schemes for the youth. Career guidance sessions, recruitment fairs, skill development workshops, and cultural performances were among the key activities. The festival aligned with the broader national theme of National Youth Day — Swami Vivekananda Jayanti — celebrated on January 12. On the same day, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducted the Lecturer (Ayurveda Department) Examination as a computer-based test, reflecting the state's focus on expanding its recruitment calendar for 2026. The simultaneous 'Run for Swadeshi' programme in Jodhpur, flagged off by Minister Madan Dilawar, reinforced the message of self-reliance among youth. Together, these events demonstrated Rajasthan's coordinated approach to harnessing youth potential through festivals, career guidance, government recruitment, and the philosophy of Swadeshi — themes directly aligned with the national priorities of Viksit Bharat @2047.
