Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on 24 September 2025 unveiled the official logo of the inaugural Pravasi Rajasthani Divas at his residence in Jaipur. The first edition of Pravasi Rajasthani Divas will be held on 10 December 2025 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura, with the unifying theme Connect, Collaborate, Contribute, inviting the state's global diaspora to engage with Rajasthan's development trajectory. The initiative was announced earlier during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 and will be celebrated every year on 10 December. The Chief Minister positioned the Divas within the Viksit Bharat framework, describing it as a platform for deepening cooperation, fostering enduring partnerships, and advancing shared aspirations for national development. Key objectives include strengthening bonds with Rajasthanis living abroad, showcasing investment opportunities in the state, enabling social contribution pathways for non-residents, and advancing Rajasthan's development narrative through diaspora-led partnerships. Industries and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore underlined the diaspora's role in preserving cultural heritage while catalysing economic collaboration. To build momentum for the December flagship, the Rajasthan Foundation organised pre-event engagement meetings in Hyderabad on 26 September 2025, followed by Surat on 8 October and Kolkata on 28 October. The government plans to unveil 13 new sectoral policies around the event to attract investments, with the Divas positioned as a cornerstone of the Rajasthan Foundation's diaspora outreach strategy.
