The Rajasthan government under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced plans to introduce 12 new industrial and sectoral policies (in addition to 22 already implemented) aimed at accelerating economic growth and diversifying the state's industrial base. New Sunrise Sectors include semiconductors, aero & space, defence, drones, green hydrogen, agri-tech, and waste recycling — signalling Rajasthan's ambition to attract high-technology investment beyond its traditional tourism and mining sectors. The policy framework builds on the momentum of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit (December 2024), where MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore were signed. Separately, the state government announced a flagship healthcare scheme providing free home delivery of medicines for senior citizens — initially for government pensioners and then expanding to all citizens above 70 years. This initiative complements the Rajasthan model of universal healthcare access, under which the state's portability provision saw 7,898 patients from outside Rajasthan access ₹46 crore worth of treatment between April–November 2025. These twin announcements reflect the Bhajanlal Sharma government's broader governance agenda combining investment attraction with inclusive social welfare — a theme central to RPSC RAS examination preparation.
