The Government of Rajasthan under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma launched the Industrial Park Promotion Policy 2026 in March 2026, designed to develop world-class industrial parks and position Rajasthan as a premier industrial destination aligned with 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives.

Key features of the policy: (1) Development through four models — fully private development, hybrid land-sharing arrangements, joint development model, and PPP mode. (2) Minimum area of 50 acres and at least 10 industrial units are mandatory for private parks to qualify for benefits. (3) Industries can avail 50% reimbursement for Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) for wastewater management. (4) Single-window clearance through the Raj Nivesh Portal to ease the business environment. (5) Focus on balanced regional development — parks to be developed in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

The policy seeks to attract domestic and foreign direct investment, upgrade infrastructure, and create large-scale employment across Rajasthan's districts. It builds on the foundation of Rajasthan's Investment Summit (Rising Rajasthan 2024), which attracted investment commitments of ₹35 lakh crore. The government also launched a Textile Export Facilitation Centre in Jaipur on March 28, 2026, through the Union Textile Ministry, complementing the industrial park push.
