India and Norway held their inaugural Maritime Security, Disarmament, and Non-Proliferation Dialogue in Oslo, Norway. The dialogue focused on sustaining a secure maritime environment under international law to promote economic growth and peace, and both sides agreed to strengthen efforts against illicit maritime activities.

The talks covered freedom of navigation, maritime domain awareness, combating piracy and maritime terrorism, and nuclear non-proliferation. Norway, as a major Arctic shipping nation and NATO member, shares India's interest in open and rules-based maritime order. The dialogue strengthens India's engagement with Nordic nations as part of its broader Indo-Pacific strategy.
