The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), under the IndiaAI Mission, launched YUVA AI for ALL on 18 November 2025, a first-of-its-kind free national course introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to all Indians, with a special focus on youth. The 4.5-hour self-paced course is designed to make students, professionals, and other curious learners comfortable with the basics of AI and show how it is transforming the world. The course is described as simple, practical, and filled with real-life Indian examples to make learning relatable and engaging. It is available free on leading learning platforms including FutureSkills Prime, iGOT Karmayogi, and other popular ed-tech portals, and every learner who completes the course will receive an official certificate from the Government of India. The course is organised around six short, engaging modules covering the foundations, applications, ethics, and future of Artificial Intelligence. Through this initiative, MeitY aims to empower 1 crore (10 million) citizens with foundational AI skills, helping bridge the digital divide, promote ethical AI adoption, and prepare India's workforce for the future. Organisations, schools, and universities can partner with IndiaAI to take the course to every corner of the country by integrating the course, promoting it to learners, and co-branding certificates. The course has been developed for the IndiaAI Mission by Jaspreet Bindra, noted AI expert and author, founder of AI & Beyond and Tech Whisperer Ltd. It blends global knowledge with India's context and emphasises ethical, responsible, and inclusive AI use. Access is provided via futureskillsprime.in/course/yuva-ai-for-all/.
