The 26th edition of the Hornbill Festival continued in Nagaland on December 3, with vibrant cultural performances by 18 Naga tribal troupes at Kisama Heritage Village. The festival, held annually from December 1-10, showcases the rich cultural heritage of Nagaland's indigenous Naga tribes through traditional dances, music, crafts, sports, and food.

Named after the Great Indian Hornbill, the festival is organized by the Government of Nagaland's Department of Tourism. Kisama Heritage Village, located about 12 km from Kohima, hosts replica morungs (traditional huts) of all the major Naga tribes. The festival promotes cultural tourism and helps preserve Naga traditions. It attracts domestic and international visitors and is often called the 'Festival of Festivals'.
