Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched the Rajasthan AI-Machine Learning Policy 2026 at the Regional AI Impact Conference held at JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur on January 6, 2026. Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Jitin Prasada were also present. The policy aims to make AI systems transparent and citizen-focused, strengthening healthcare, education, and governance sectors.

Key launches included the National AI Literacy Programme, iStart Learning Management System, Rajasthan AVGC-XR Portal, and Rajasthan AI Portal. Strategic MoUs were signed with IIT Delhi, Google, and National Law University Jodhpur using live holographic technology. The conference featured sessions on AI for Public Service Delivery, Ethical AI, Future of Employment, and Rajasthan's startup ecosystem. The state aims to train 1 million youth in AI skills.
