The Rajasthan government approved the Bhamashah Policy 2025 on November 22, 2025, aimed at improving government school infrastructure through philanthropic and corporate donations. The policy encourages individual donors, NRIs, corporate entities, trusts, and alumni groups to contribute toward classrooms, laboratories, libraries, smart classes, sports facilities, drinking water units, boundary walls, and campus improvement.

Donors receive official recognition including plaques, certificates, and digital acknowledgement through a dedicated state portal. The policy is named after Bhamashah (1547-1600), the legendary treasurer and philanthropist in Maharana Pratap's court, symbolizing community-driven public service and selfless contribution to society.
