Jaipur became the first city in India to offer three leopard safaris as part of Rajasthan's expanding wildlife tourism ecosystem. The city now features a leopard reserve, an elephant and lion safari, and a tiger safari alongside the three leopard experiences.

The initiative is part of the Rajasthan Tourism Policy 2025 which includes an 'adopt a tourism site' programme inviting private players, local communities, and tourism stakeholders to restore, manage, and operate heritage and eco-tourism locations through a sustainable, revenue-supported model. Rajasthan attracted over 2.5 crore tourists in 2024-25.
