The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology organised BHASHINI Samudaye: Strengthening India's Language AI Ecosystem in New Delhi on January 13, 2026, focused on consolidating India's language AI ecosystem as a national platform for multilingual governance, education, and public service delivery.

BHASHINI, India's national language translation platform, supports over 20 Scheduled Languages and processes millions of translation requests daily. The workshop discussed integration of BHASHINI APIs into government portals, educational platforms, and citizen service delivery systems. For Rajasthan's large Hindi-speaking population, BHASHINI enables access to central government services and educational content in Hindi and Rajasthani dialects, bridging the digital language divide.
