The Rajasthan state government announced enhanced measures for cow protection and traditional farming. Daily subsidies for registered gaushalas were raised to ₹50 per cow and ₹25 per calf, a significant increase from previous rates.

The Rajasthan Budget 2025-26 also includes a provision of ₹30,000 annually for small and marginal farmers continuing traditional bullock-based farming. Agriculture and allied sectors contribute 26.72% to Rajasthan's Gross State Value Added (GSVA) for 2023-24, with livestock alone accounting for 48.58% of this sector. Budgetary allocations for heritage sites including Khatushyamji Temple and Poonchhri Ka Lotha for promoting spiritual tourism were also announced.
