The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026 commenced on January 9 at multiple locations nationwide, culminating with PM Modi's address at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on January 12 — National Youth Day, marking Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. Over 50 lakh youth registered across the country.

Selected participants were chosen through a three-stage process — a nationwide digital quiz, essay challenge, and state-level vision presentations. About 3,000 participants presented actionable suggestions on ten themes including education, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and governance. PM Modi highlighted that the combination of Digital India, startup growth, and youth participation is reshaping the country's future.
