The sixth day of Sādhana Saptah 2026, a nationwide good governance initiative under Mission Karmayogi, focused on 'Tangible Outcomes' with expert-led webinars exploring universal health assurance, systems thinking for sustainability, and data-driven approaches to social protection and last-mile inclusion.

Multiple Central Ministries, Departments, and State Governments hosted specialised webinars covering citizen-centric services, capacity building, data management, ethics in administration, and outcome measurement frameworks. The initiative, launched by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), aims to transform India's civil services through continuous learning and professional development of government officials at all levels.

Mission Karmayogi, launched in 2020 as the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB), has trained over 2.5 million government officials through the iGOT Karmayogi digital platform. Sādhana Saptah represents the annual intensive phase where officials across all levels of governance — from central to district administration — engage in focused learning and best practice sharing.

Prime Minister Modi, who addressed the initiative earlier in the week, emphasised that governance must move from an input-oriented approach to an outcome-oriented one. The week-long programme covers themes including digital transformation, ethical governance, citizen-first service delivery, and evidence-based policy making. Officials from over 700 departments participated in the sessions conducted through the iGOT platform.
