In an exclusive interview published on December 20, 2025 marking the completion of two years in office, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma outlined his government's governance philosophy and key achievements. On water security, the government launched the 'Vande Ganga' conservation campaign and the 'Karmabhoomi se Mathrubhoomi' campaign targeting the construction of 45,000 recharge structures over four years to replenish groundwater in Rajasthan's water-stressed districts. On employment and skill development, 663 skill centres have imparted vocational training to 3.06 lakh young people; smart classrooms have been established in 144 Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs); and 2.16 lakh new approvals have been issued under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojana, with 1.89 lakh beneficiaries interning across government departments. On economic development, MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore signed at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in December 2024 are progressing, with projects worth ₹7 lakh crore already under implementation. The government has also introduced an AI Policy 2025 to position Rajasthan as a technology leader, alongside 12 new industrial and sectoral policies covering semiconductors, defence, aerospace, green hydrogen, and sustainable industries. CM Sharma emphasised that development was non-partisan and that governance reforms were aimed at making Rajasthan a ₹350 lakh crore economy by 2047.
