The Rajasthan Education Department unveiled a comprehensive four-part action plan to strengthen foundational literacy and improve quality in government schools, aiming to position Rajasthan as a model state for implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Key components include: (1) Student Support — digital attendance monitoring, timely textbook distribution within one month, emotional wellness seminars and counseling, and competitive exam materials for high-performers; (2) School Categorisation — schools ranked Gold, Silver, or Bronze based on test results and sports achievements, with resources prioritised for top performers; (3) Teacher Initiatives — new transfer policies emphasising student performance metrics and selection of specialised teachers for state institutions; (4) Community Engagement — mandatory monthly parent-teacher meetings statewide to enhance parental involvement in learning outcomes.
