Rajasthan received the Gold Medal in the Partner States category at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, held annually at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The award recognises exceptional exhibition design, cultural representation, and the promotion of state products and investment opportunities. Rajasthan's pavilion at IITF 2025 showcased the state's artisanal crafts — including blue pottery, block-printed textiles (Sanganeri and Bagru prints), bandhani, meenakari jewellery, and leather goods — alongside its investment potential in renewable energy, tourism, and the IT sector. IITF is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and is one of Asia's largest trade fairs. The fair provides a platform for states to attract domestic and foreign investment, promote exports, and increase tourism footfall. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has been aggressively promoting the state's 'Rising Rajasthan' investment summit outcomes, and the IITF gold medal complements the state government's branding of Rajasthan as a premier investment and tourism destination. Rajasthan's traditional crafts have received GI (Geographical Indication) tags — including Sanganer Hand Block Printing, Jodhpuri Mojari, and Blue Pottery of Jaipur — which enhance their brand value in domestic and international markets. The state's One District One Product (ODOP) scheme under the National ODOP programme further aligns with the IITF showcase.
