The 60th DGP/IGP Conference commenced on November 28, 2025 at IIM Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, running through November 30. The three-day conference, themed 'Viksit Bharat: Security Dimensions', was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval in attendance.

The conference brought together DGPs/IGPs from all states and Union Territories and heads of Central Police Organisations. Key focus areas included left-wing extremism (LWE), counter-terrorism, cyber security, women's safety, disaster management, forensic science, and AI applications in policing. Home Minister Shah highlighted that Naxal-affected districts had fallen from 126 in 2014 to just 11 in 2025, and that 586 fortified police stations had been constructed.
