Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma launched the Rajasthan Tourism Policy 2025 on December 10 at the JECC campus, Sitapura, Jaipur, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. The policy was described as a 'visionary roadmap' for tourism development with focus on investment, innovation, employment generation, and community participation.

Key highlights include the 'adopt a tourism site' initiative inviting private players to restore and manage heritage and eco-tourism locations. Emerging sectors like digital tourism, religious circuits, astro-tourism, adventure tourism, and wellness tourism are prioritized. The policy also introduces special incentives for tourism startups and rural tourism initiatives.
