The newly inaugurated Noida International Airport at Jewar features cutting-edge sustainability measures, positioning it as a sustainable, future-ready airport that aims to operate as a net-zero emissions facility. The terminal incorporates energy-efficient design, renewable energy integration, and advanced water recycling systems.

The airport's design draws inspiration from lotus and diamond motifs. The terminal spans over 90,000 square metres with state-of-the-art passenger processing systems and aerobridges.

Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, is the concessionaire for development and operations. The Swiss company brings global expertise in sustainable airport management.

The airport is designed as a multi-modal transport hub, with planned metro rail connectivity, rapid transit system, and dedicated bus services. Its proximity to the Delhi-Varanasi High-Speed Rail corridor and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway enhances its strategic importance.
