Rajasthan's flagship startup initiative, the iStart portal — managed by the Department of Information Technology and Communication — has crossed 7,100 registered startups and facilitated over ₹1,000 crore in investments, creating more than 42,500 jobs. The portal also has over 2,600 women-led startups and 288 student-run ventures, with 1.16 lakh students enrolled. Techno Hub in Jaipur, affiliated with iStart, is India's largest startup incubation hub at 1.5 lakh sq. ft. with 2,000 seats. The iStart platform offers startups services including recognition, skill development, incubation, mentorship, government work orders, and funding assistance. The initiative aligns with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's vision of positioning Rajasthan as a leading tech and innovation hub in India, building on momentum from the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit. The startup ecosystem's growth reflects Rajasthan's shift towards a knowledge economy, particularly in agri-tech, ed-tech, and handicraft sectors relevant to the state's strengths.
