Veer Bal Diwas was observed on December 26, 2025, with the Ministry of Women and Child Development organising a national-level celebration at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Annpurna Devi participated in the event.

Veer Bal Diwas was first declared by PM Modi in 2022 to honour the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the two youngest sons of Guru Gobind Singh, who were bricked alive in Sirhind (now Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab) in 1705 for refusing to renounce their faith.
