The NDA secured a landslide victory in Bihar Assembly elections, winning 202 of 243 seats, with results declared on November 14, 2025. Voting was held on November 6 and 11. The BJP emerged as the single largest party with 89 seats, a historic first in Bihar.

Nitish Kumar's JD(U) won 85 seats, Chirag Paswan's LJP(RV) 19 seats, HAM(S) 5 seats, and RLM 4 seats. The opposition Mahagathbandhan secured just 35 seats. Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister for a record tenth time, with Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha continuing as Deputy Chief Ministers.
