The Indian Air Force repatriated 270 Indian nationals from Mae Sot, Thailand, on November 5-6, 2025, who had been trapped in Myanmar's notorious KK Park cyber scam compound in Myawaddy. The rescue was triggered by Myanmar's military launching a major operation in mid-October 2025 to clear out KK Park, causing over 2,000 scammers to flee across the Moei River into Thailand.

Many returnees were victims of human trafficking, recruited under false pretenses by agents promising overseas jobs. They were stripped of passports and forced to run global scam operations. The Indian Embassy in Bangkok coordinated with Thai authorities and IAF used C-130J aircraft. By month-end, India repatriated 1,500 nationals total from Myanmar scam hubs.
