Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas directed Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Ltd (RSMML) to increase mineral production in its mines. RSMML supplied 43.15 lakh tonnes of minerals in the current financial year up to November 2025. The directive came during a review meeting on the state's mining sector performance.

Rajasthan is India's leading producer of several minerals including marble, sandstone, zinc, lead, and copper. The mining sector contributes significantly to the state's GDP and employment. RSMML operates mines for rock phosphate, gypsum, lignite, and other minerals across the state.
