Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on February 20, 2026 launched seven additional interventions under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) with a total outlay of ₹25,060 crore — ₹10,400 crore for Niryat Protsahan (export promotion) and ₹14,660 crore for Niryat Disha (trade ecosystem support).

Key interventions include: Export Factoring with 2.75% interest subvention capped at ₹50 lakh per MSME annually; Direct E-Commerce Credit Facility up to ₹50 lakh with 90% guarantee; and Overseas Inventory Credit up to ₹5 crore with 75% guarantee. With this launch, 10 of 11 proposed EPM interventions are now operational. The Mission adopts a holistic ecosystem approach combining financial enablers and trade facilitation through a unified digital framework.
